Covid Changes
Even though the theatres are now closed and the prospect of a rescue package from this wholly incompetent government is pretty non-existent, drama schools are now running auditions online and the industry continues but with lots of changes.
The wellbeing of my students is of paramount importance so, in light of the global outbreak of Coronavirus, I am making a number of adjustments the way I work:
Until further notice, I will not be offering lessons from my home as the spaces are simply too small to operate under current guidelines
Many students are opting for Zoom sessions. These are a simple, safe and effective alternative to face-to-face sessions. When you have booked a slot, I will send you a link to click on and a password for entry - It's all very simple and there is no need to download anything
I have also been offering socially-distanced face-to-face sessions outside, in public spaces and private gardens etc
I am currently not accepting cash. Sessions can be paid for by BACS payment
All distanced sessions will be subject to a £10 discount off the hourly rate for the foreseeable future
New Services
In keeping up with current demand, I now offer the following additional services:
Self tape, instruction, advice and feedback for both drama school applicants and graduates experiencing industry auditions for the first time
One-to-one online drama school for people who want to get a solid foundation in acting. I have also have several students who are using this as a way to continue training in the face of recent drama school closures
Professional preparation - getting under-graduates industry-ready. Spotlight photos, accountancy and agent and casting director correspondence
